Some Updated Pics

got some old/new pics off dads comp the other day
so this is basically an update

finally wired up my fogs and installed some DDM HIDs in saturday
the L rims are retired to the garage til summer when i can save up the $ to get some new rubber and get them powdercoated black
ill hopefully be going lower over summer as well
tint is off the tails cus i regularly got pulled over, and the front plate is on for the same reason

Before HID Fogs

After

DDM ended up sending me the slim ballasts and I can honestly say in really really impressed with them seeing as the ballasts for my heads are bigger than a deck of cards

look at a lightning grill (like the one on my green truck) it's probably close to what you want then you can paint it to match your truck

thanks for the compliments guys

out of all the options i do like the lightning grill the most, i just hate always being confused as a lightning lol

i bought the heads off ebay w/ the light smoke on them, i love em

and i put a layer of the vynil tint on the fogs, although im thinking about taking it off cus it makes the HIDs look a little "cloudy"

Nice truck! How do you like the DDM HIDs? I'm thinking of getting a set for my heads and fogs. I've been hearing a lot of positive, but there's always negative too.. Did you order full size and get sent the slim ballasts? I'm only asking because I'm thinking of getting them for my car too, which has an auto lamp feature, and I read the slims won't always fire with the auto lamps on. anyway, nice truck!

I'm very very happy w/ the HIDs, and i ordered the raptor kit, which is the one with the full sized ballast and they sent me the slim ballast kit but i think they only did because they called me 3 weeks after i put my order in and said it would be another 3-4 weeks for the raptors and i flipped out lol.

and i love the look of the shaved honeycomb but i think it would clash with my bar style lower grill...hmmm possibilities

Go buy a Lightning upper and lower grill from a 2001. That year L had the honeycomb top and bottom. Almost bought one awhile back, but didn't.
