try hotter cams, port and polish the heads, headers, cat back exhaust, and injectors. you should gain another 50 to 100 hp

Cams, headers, throttle body, nobody has mentioned nitros, does anyone sell a kit for the 5.4?

A throttle body will help very little and a MAF will not help at all!
Take out the throttle body spacer,,,it's not helping.

Unfortunately your at the point that more power is going to be expensive!!
Ported heads, better cams,long-tube headers, high flow cats, blower or nitrous is all you can do now.
Oh yeah,,,you could also re-gear to 4.10s,,,that will make it feel like you have a lot more power.

throttle body spacer

ditch the worthless paperweight, go ahead and get the 75mm TB, port and polish the TB elbow, long tube headers, 24# injectors, custom tune (for 91/93 octane)and the above mentioned 4.10 gears

do a shift kit too to help out your accelleration and prolong the life of your trans

then it'll be time for cams and ported and polished heads

i was already planing on taking out the tb spacer i think it had a negative affect if anything.

is there a chance something is robing power. it just seems like it should have more.

I know what you mean, my 05 screw feels so slow. But if your engine was in a stang it would fly. These trucks are heavy so they feel slow. My 99 is considerably faster than my 05 and I havent done much to it, just a flowmaster and an ebay cia. what did you drive before the truck?

It is a big ol' 4x4 truck. It's definitely not going to be a Lightning.

Short of you pulling a few plugs and telling us that you have done a compression check that shows you down on a few cylinders, it's something you have to live with.
