Question Can you guys help me fix a few things on my "new" '03 King Ranch?

Well, the wife made me trade in my 04 Lariat Screw 4x4 for a 07 Honda Civic due to gas price a couple years ago

Then, after all my friends giving me crap about borrowing their trucks and all their wives telling my wife that she might as well as castrated me while making me get rid of my truck, she tells me to go looking for a nice used truck this summer.

So, in July, I traded the civic for a '03 King Ranch Screw 4x4 and love it (great trade on the 30+ mpg civic and they were practically giving trucks away with gas prices). It has a 100k+ miles and I went through a pretty thorough tune-up/fluid change. All in all, it's in good shape, but I need help with a few things:

1. The past couple weeks we have had a few morning at 5 degrees here. I let the truck run for about 5-10 minutes while getting the kids coats on. When I come out, the temperature gauge is setting at about 40% above Cold, but it's still blowing ice cold air and not doing anything for the frost on my windshield. I try cycling through the different modes and also from 60 to 90 degrees (EATC), but no change. After I drive for about 5-10 miles, it starts blowing warm air. Any thoughts? I changed/flushed the coolant but didn't replace the thermostat so I guess it could be bad and stuck open - but it ran fine over the summer months I had it.

2. The EATC won't run in the Floor/Panel (Mix) mode, instead it blow air out the defrost vents. Floor and Panel run fine by themselves, and Floor/Defrost seems to be fine, just the Floor/Panel doesn't work. I always used this the most in my 04 and the wife's Pilot since it gets us warm quick and still sends heat to the back seat through the floor vents. I am going to see if the EATC throws any codes using the diag I saw in one of the other posts.

3. Driver's side heated seat doesn't get warm. I had the same issue with my 99 Tahoe, but traded it before resolving the issue. I assume the heating element has gone bad since this seat would get the most use and the passenger seat works fine. The switch light comes on, but I don't know how to check for voltage from the switch to make sure the element is getting the proper voltage/amperage.

4. Does anyone know how to defeat the 10 minute timer on the heated seat? The wife hates it and had the same issue on the '04 but never checked into it. The seats in her Pilot have a rocker switch and stay on.

1. you need to burp your coolant system

2/3 check your wiring for them and the switches, check to make sure you are getting power to the switches
