I have a 98 F-150 and the headlight swithc doesnt have the foglight option on it because the previous owner didnt get the right switch and I need to get a new switch. I took one out of a 2000 but it wouldnt work. does anyone know what years will work on my 98 for the headlight switch? Thanks!

 

im assuming that your truck came stock with foglights?

if so check all your fuses and relays first..

 

Yes it came stock. replaced both bulbs, checked every single fuse in the truck, all good. So the only thing it could be is the switch because my friends 97 says pull for fog lamps and mine doesnt. The fog lights are factory too.

 

the only thing i can think of is that the switches for 97-98's are different from the 99-04's

one thing ive done is ordered one through autozone and tried it out, if it doesnt work for you just take it right back and get your money back

other than that maybe someone else will chime in...?
