Need some advice on a Grille Guard
ok so I just moved to San Angelo and due to the 50 MILLION deer out here I have decided that I need a Grille Gaurd... I am a newbie to the aftermarket thing and need some help... I drive a black F-150 that came with a lift (thought not much of one its enought you can tell) chrome bumpers, the wheels are also not stock thought they arn't very fancy (I think that the wheels may be from the next year model I'm not sure.)
Sooo to break it down, I need a grille guard that
A) Is sturdy, needs to be able to SIGNIFICANTLY help in the event I hit somthing, namely a deer or hog
B)Is cheap, I am a college student, I want the best deal possible, I might be able to get a more expensive one as a christmas or b-day gift but thats not a sure thing
C) Looks good, Honestly my truck is pretty good looking now and I don't want to put somthing on that takes away from that... The biggest part of that would be to go chrome or black.
I know this is long but any help I can get is greatly appriciated,
thanks, Jacob

Check them out, you have to find a local dealer but I personally think they look real good
not sure what year your truck is???

forget a grille guard go to www.ironbullbumpers.com and check them out not that expensive and there heavy duty and look awesome
1st unfortunately as much as I like mine...protection from hitting a deer none of the straight grill guards will do much except cause more damage. They are ment for mostly just keeping tree limbs and branches off the front of the truck. As for real protection on the frontend you will have to go to a full front bumper replacement like Ironbull,T3,Fabfours,Ranchhand,Boondocks,or Thunderstruck. All of which start in the area of about 800 and go up to almost 2k depending on the options you choose on them.
Mines a Westin Sportsman Modular and it does come in black for about 400 and the chrome is about 800
