Just Bought Truck

Hello all, I am new here and I recently purchased a '99 F-150. It has FX4 stickers on it, but I believe those to be added by previous owner as I don't believe it was an option in that year (correct me if wrong). I have only had this truck for a couple of days, but I am already in love with it. It is an XLT, with the 5.4 and straight pipe exhaust.

Thanks for looking.

it was 02 when the FX4 came out.

nice truck though op, i wish my truck was black, so many more options appearance wise. that was a good bye since it already has a couple of aftermarket products that you would probably buy anyway.i got mine bone stock.

Thanks, the exhaust is just a y-pipe right now. Would there be any difference if I was to have it changed to true-duals straight piped? I like the tips as well, but they are chrome and starting to chip/rust, which means they will probably be replaced with stainless ones when summer arrives.

Nice truck man! Reminds me of my dad's old 97 F250 (F150 7700). You should get some FX4 rims to finish it off, since it is an FX4.

Joe, I also just purchased a 97 ext cab and someone has put the FX4 stickers on it over where the 4X4 sticker used to be....I am trying to find the OEM rims for an FX4 as I like them better than the ones I have on it now. I can't see the pictures of your truck but it sounds great!! I have had mine about 3 weeks and love it too...Mine has 157,000 miles and drives excellent. Good Luck with yours.
