The 350,000 Mile 97 F-150

Well here is my 1997 Ford F-150 Supercab XLT with the 5.4l and the auto tranny. I purchased this truck in July from my uncle who is the original owner since new. This truck has only broken down once because of a bad alternator. The truck has the original motor, tranny, ball joints, radiator hoses and many other small things. The truck got 270,000 miles out of it first serpentine belt and I still have it as a backup because it was still good when it was removed.

I just recently replaced.
-Pass Side Cat Converter
-O2 Sensors
-Exhaust Pipe moved to behind tire

350,000 miles as of 10-14

I replied to you in another thread.... but man, that's damn impressive. Possibly a record for this site from what I have seen for total mileage on original equipment like that... right on.

That's awesome That's a lot of driving in just 11 years. Wow. The truck looks really good for having so many miles. My 98 has 126k and I'm always so nervous it's going to start giving me problems soon, even though we've taken the best of care of it. Good luck with the truck!

Wow! That a lot of miles. Knock on wood and keep it looking good. My dad had 467,000 on his '76 Dotson 280z when he died and the only thing he ever did was just regular maint. to it.
