airbag light!!!!!!

airbag light!!!!!!

i need some help if anyone knows anthing about airbags. my airbag light came on, on my 2003 f150 a couple of days ago and it flashes the code 46, if anyone knows what this means or what i can do to fix it please help me out. thanks

my airbag light came on a few months ago. turned out to be a loose connection. there is somewhere to search codes and they tell you what they mean. not sure where tho. sorry.

Found 2 possibilities:

46 LH Crash Sensor - Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly

46 Open Splice Center Air Bag Sensor Ground Monitor

From the 2003 Service Manual:
DTC-B1877 LFC-46 LFC Priority24 Driver Pretensioner Circuit Resistance High
NOTE: Most faults are due to connector and/or wiring concerns.

Check the connections of the wiring plugs under the drivers seat.

check the passenger air bag light. my connection was loose and it caused the airbag light to flash

He has a fault code 46. The PAD bulb won't cause that, it causes a 27.

thanks to everyone who tried to help me out, turns out it was the connection under my driver seat, thanks carolina five-0.
