This has been a tough call for me as well. I really like my truck. It runs great and has given me no issues since I bought it new in 02'. I love not having a payment, but I sure do like the 08' body style and I could really use the crew cab at this point in my life. I'm not crazy at all about the 09' F-150 and since I choose to always purchase new, this is my last chance to purchase a "new" 08 F-150. The deals they're offering make it really tough for me not to head down the the dealership and see what I can get. I've decided that this is a "want" and not a "need" purchase so I'm most likely going to stick with my 02' until the wheels fall off. Maybe the new F-150's will grow on me. I remember when the 97-03 body style came out. I thought it was the ugliest truck ever! I have now owned two of the 97-03 body style F-150's .

If I didn't like (love) my truck so much, I woulda traded it on a 09. I've been without payment since late 02 so it owes me nothing. I'm gonna keep the 00 even if I get another. Trading in is a bad way to go unless luckily you get a decent price but ya, can't beat the deals going on now either. Tough call, especially if a payment doesn't bother you.

I say keep it. Nothing beats not having a payment to deal with.

I'd have to say keep it. You don't even have it broke in yet.

Keep it. My truck is an 02 XLT 4X4 with 89K. Runs and runs and runs. If you take good care of it, as others have said, you will be driving it for what seem like forever.

Having no truck payments is a great thing, to boot.
