I have an 02 F-150 super cab. The power window on the drivers side goes down just fine but doesn't like to go back up. So far its gone back up every time with anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute of playing with the switch. Any idea what it could be?

 

sounds like the switch is going bad

 

usually when i have problems with a switch i pull it apart and clean the contacts.

 

Two things to do. First, make sure the fasteners on the retraction assembly are all tight, mine came loose. Second you will have to replace the rocker switch assembly. I found one at a wrecking yard for $40, I think the dealer price is $80. This is a normal Ford problem

 

... dude, clean the contacts. way cheaper.
