Lost keys and remote entry
Nope. Truck has to be present so they can hook up a scan tool and program a new set of keys. Also, be prepared to buy a minimum of 2 keys, because that is the minimum amount that the PATS system requires when starting over from scratch.
Take one of the new PATS keys they give you and tape it to the PATS module then you can get a key cut without the chip if you need to and not have to go to the hassle of having the dealership charge you for this reprogramming.
Of course do this and the chances of someone getting into your car and actually starting it go up.

uhh... if even if you cut the key perfect, the truck will not start w/o the transponder being programmed, hence the necessity of the dealer's services.
there's no way around this. you can't just tape a non-programmed transponder key to the PATS, and cut a non-transponder key to use to start the ignition. the best you could do is tow the truck to the dealer's w/ a buddy's truck/trailer, and save on the tow bill.

The remote entry fobs are available on ebay cheaply, about $15 each. And you can program it yourself (after you have a new key). It'll come with directions.

PATS is Passive Anti-Theft System
Go to eBay and type in F-150 Keyless Remote and you will get a couple hundred options.
Either way you go you will still need to go to the dealer and get the truck reprogrammed though.
