Bolts for seats?

I recently upgraded the seats in my truck from a solid bench to the 60/40 bench. In the process of taking out the solid bench one of the rear bolts was rusted in the floor so badly that I rounded out the torx socket on the bolt and had to wrench it out with a pipe wrench.

I don't have a salvage yard near me that's easy for me to get to and I've searched through my Haynes manual, my F-150 parts identifier, and my service manual and shop manual CD's on my computer. I can find the PN for the seat tracks but there isn't any mention of the bolts at all. I thought about calling the dealer but this sounds like something they'd make me buy a whole seat track for.

Does anyone have any a connection where they might get the bolts I need (I think I'm missing the rear bolt for the 60 side of the seat too)? Maybe someone on here has a salvage yard close and I could pay you to get the bolts and ship them if it's reasonable?

I would check with local body shops. They have salvage yard connections that deliver to them weekly.

I messed one up a few years ago. Those bolts have metric thread and you can get a replacement at your local hardware store (ACE Hardware).

Take the old one with you.

Identical bolt or just similar? I'm a little **** retentive...just a little and maybe some OCD. I don't have an ACE around, Home Depot should have them right?

You are correct. The replacement I bought did NOT have the Torx head, it was an ordinary bolt. But, it is under the seat and out of sight.

There's 3 different threaded bolts Ford used, depending on location in the cab. I'd think you can get just the bolt from the Ford house.
