Put a rod though the side of the block last year, finally got enough money saved up to install a Reman Engine. Having to replace lot of other unexpected parts as well since the truck is 15 years old.

That's why I am doing it all now instead of having to go back in a few months and replace more stuff. My truck has always been very well maintained so it was not real bad matter of fact the freakin radiator looked brand new inside but I have to replace it to have the warranty on the Reman engine. It's just that a few things are borderline so I am doing it now.

However there are things that I was not expecting to have to replace and many of them are big cost items such as injectors, engine oil cooler, crankshaft dampener, JBA headers

I remember you posting about that. Figured you had it fixed by now. It'll be nice getting it back on the road with a fresh engine.

Nope it's a very expensive repair so it took me awhile to get the cash saved to pay for it.

understandable! it sucks! but hopefully i get the job i applied for! the owner may just let me use the after hours time to do the body on my pickup so i do have something to repair before it rusts away!

^^^Can't decide if I'm more jealous of the fact that you have a pond on that property (how much acreage do you have) or of the truck
