my hood was only $250 new. I had to get it painted which cost another 250 or so. Only problem is its heavy. had to install extra shocks to hold it up

1999 XLT 4.6 2WD Oxford White FTW
Fresh interior, not done yet

out of everything i painted and took pics of, i think this is one of my faves

before i get a million people telling me about PTM, the grill surround, whole front bumper, and that dadgum red tonneau cover will all be PTM'd

definitely thinking about replacing these..

better view of my tonneau... will be ptm soon *crosses fingers*

Just one month, and its already completely different. Question** what kinda paint did you use on the vinyl on your door panels? I am in the process of painting my whole interior too, but I am smoothing everything.

ive contemplated going back and smoothing it this summer and redoing it..i just used rustoleum vinyl/fabric paint for most of it, and then the rustoleum plastic paint for a few of the harder plastic pieces.. but i found some actual vinyl dye... that soaks into the vinyl/plastic and im thinking of buying it and redoing it all haha... idk though, ill see how this holds up for now

Well, for the record. Smoothing all of the texture is a HUGE pain. I spend nearly an hour just working on the two door lock switch panels before I primed them. I am doing everything in my truck black. Carpet, headliner, and dash, I have PTM accents and lightning seats. Its going to be VERY dark in my truck . I have 7% tint.

lol i have the 5% limo tint, and my front windshield is tinted as well, not sure exact tint on the whole thing, but i have the eyebrow tint and it looks like its around 10-20% haha... and obviously mine is white and blue... the headliner and visors and the biggest dash piece will be white.. dark blue floor carpet, seats will be a custom navy blue/white reupholstery
seat belt casings, plastic around seats, kick panels, everything will be either white or navy blue when im done my main reason for the navy blue is that all white interior has been done before... but in the hours of looking through f150 forums and years of SEMA pics, ive yet to see white with navy blue in any combination... so hopefully it will be completely unique
