Watch a Kenne Bell Supercharged F-150 Tear Up the Drag Strip

The idea of a building an F-150 into a drag-strip terror isn’t as crazy as some may think. While base V8 model Mustang prices soar higher and higher, short bed, regular cab, V8-equipped F-150s are still relatively affordable. It’s a sturdy, reliable canvas on which to build a quick vehicle.
That point is emphasized when you see trucks like this Kenne Bell supercharged F-150. The refrigerator white, short-wheelbase brick has no problem slaying fast cars at the local drag strip. We’re not so sure about the below video’s description labeling it as a “sleeper,” however.
It’s kind of hard to muffle the insanely loud exhaust and supercharger whine, but then again, this is clearly a purpose-built truck. The right exhaust setup would do well to muffle the sound on the street and keep things a little more discreet, as would a stock set of wheels and reasonable rubber.
Regardless, this fast Ford hooks up with zero wheel spin and rips off an impressive 10.96 quarter mile at 127 miles per hour. That’s good enough to take on most small-tired cars (and some big-tired ones) at the local drags, and quick enough to embarrass most supercar owners on the street. We’ll call that a win any day.
