TRUCK YOU! A Super 2001 F-150 SuperCab

In today’s TRUCK YOU! feature, we’re going to step into the garage of a member who has been on our site since 2008. He enjoys automotive audio (who doesn’t?), off-roading, MMA, soccer, and skateboarding.

Not to mention that he is the proud owner of this amazing 2001 Ford F-150 SuperCab that has enjoyed a fair amount of modifications. This member is coobies5, and he certainly has a truck worthy enough to show to all of you today!

The rig has a 4.6L engine and over two hundred thousands miles (still running strong!). In the way of performance coobies5 has done several things to get this rig going faster and sounding louder.

So far he has added an SLP Loud Mouth “Shotgun” Resonator, a K&N cold air intake, and has had the rig tuned by VMP. Those things alone make this ride quite desirable. After all, you can never do too much to make your rig faster, can you?

Besides just performance modifications, coobies5 has done a lot. In fact, the rig is lowered. Of course, dropping it a few inches would not make this rig look as good as it does now, not without some help.

Thus, he has added smoked taillights, clear headlights, and more. He also has his F-150 rocking a Sundown SAZ 3000d amp. He’s done a lot to this rig and it definitely shows!
