This week’s Truck Pullin’ video comes to us from the Wyandot County Fair in beautiful Upper Sandusky, Ohio, where a newer Ford F-150 powered by the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is participating in the stock class of the truck pulling competition.
While we have generally featured F-150 pickups pulling sleds on Truck Pull, this week’s video shows a Ford F-150 working to free a stuck Chevy Silverado 2500 HD.
This week’s Truck Pullin’ video features a mid 1970s Ford F-150 hooked up to the sled at the 2009 Pike County Fair. We don’t know anything about this classic F-150, but it is clear that it packs a V8 gas engine and based on how simple this Ford makes this run look, I would guess that there is at least a little work done to what I would guess is a big block V8 under the hood.
Most of the old school Ford F-150 pickups that we feature here on F150Online – whether they are playing in the mud, racing down the track or pulling a sled – are obviously modified and quite loud.
