Is there any vehicle that doesn’t have some sort of recall these days? I mean, seriously, can’t we have just ONE year without seeing a number of different random issues and problems with these giant hunks of mechanical wonderment that people are paying tens of thousands of dollars for? The most recent recall deals with the 2016 Ford F-150.

The recall is thankfully not model-wide, rather it affects about 4,000 vehicles and happened between Feb. 20-25 at the Dearborn plant and between Feb. 17-24 at the Kansas City plant. There are concerns that the driver’s seatback was not properly welded. That means, in the case of an accident, there is a higher risk of the seat coming loose and putting the driver at higher risk of injury.

So far, that hasn’t happened, but Ford wants to bring the vehicles in for inspection. CallĀ 866-436-7332 to see if your F-150 falls into this pool.
