Get Up-Close and Personal With the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor
All Ford truck enthusiasts alike have been in love with the Ford F-150 Raptor introduced in 2010 for a few years now, but the new one promises to be incredible, and considerably better than the old one.
Originally equipped with a 6.2-liter V-8, the Raptor had proven to be a bit heavy when it came to off-road performance, but things are changing for the Raptor – for the better.
Complete with high-strength military-grade aluminum alloy, the all-new Raptor is approximately 500 pounds lighter than its predecessor. The exceptionally powerful (though we don’t know exactly high powerful yet) 24-valve, high-output 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine is paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission, which manages to send even more power to all four wheels. The 2017 Raptor also features 17-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires designed specifically for this beast of a truck. Because what’s horsepower good for if you can’t control it, right?
