OPTIMA Presents MY RIDE! A 2001 Ford F-150 XL

It’s hard to give up a past love. They mean a lot to you and took up a lot of time and energy from your life. We’re not talking about relationships here. Well, not in the way most would think. Instead we’re talking about old rides that one has put their sweat, blood, and tears into.

Even though moving on to something different can be a good things, that’s not always the only option. F150Online member fritz4077 is the proud owner of a 2012 F-250 FX2, but he still keeps his older ride close — his 2001 F-150 XL. Today we’ll step inside his garage and take a closer look at the wonderful blue beauty!

Despite now owning a much newer Ford truck (11 years newer, to be exact), fritz4077 doesn’t seem to have lost any of his passion for his older ride. This magnificent V6 Ford isn’t stock either, which is to be expected from someone who loves their ride so much.

As the rig sits now, it has a Street Scene front bumper, clear marker lights, blacked out taillights, and more. The ride has also been lowered two inches in the front and four in the rear. The F-150 looks good, and the painted dash definitely brings some of these good looks into the interior of the truck!

Despite owning a newer truck, fritz4077 has kept his dedication firm toward his 2001 F-150. It’s always great to see when a garage can be shared without one rig being forgotten!
