OPTIMA Presents F-150 of the Week: 2001 Ford Lightning
This week’s F-150 is a pearly white 2001 Lightning owned by Shane a.k.a. “slammediam” from Cleveland, Tennessee.
The two tone truck with a Harley grille, a Snugtop lid, 20″Eagle Alloy wheels and Toyo tires looks perfect for cruising through the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains.
Suspension modifications on the Lightning include a Belltech 3/4 drop kit, Hotchkis/Bilsteins front shocks, QA1 drag shocks rear, JDM 58″ traction bars and a Hotchkis sway bar.
Interior touches showcase UPR billet window switches & a/c knobs, ASM billet door locks, Harley F-150 pedals, Expedition console, Pro Car race seats, Pioneer double din, a Kicker sub woofer, black carpet and a bedrug under the lid. A very cool ride!
Future modifications planned include a new paint job, wheels, airbag system and more. The Ford looks awesome as it is but tinkering sure helps to keep the wheels spinning. Check out more slammin’ photos here.
