Lifted, off-road trucks are all the rage these days. But this sporty F-150 makes us long for the sport truck days.

These days, most every truck you see is a four-wheel drive model. Typically lifted with knobby tires and an aggressive suspension. And we love them, of course. But we also still have a soft spot in our hearts for sport trucks, a style that largely died off after flourishing in the ’90s. And this incredibly clean 2013 Ford F-150 FX2 up for grabs in the F-150 Online Marketplace is a great example of why that bygone era deserves to make a comeback.

A sporty truck is exactly what the seller, also the original owner, was going for from the start. He purchased the truck new specifically because he wanted one with both the 5.0-liter V8 and 3.73 rear gears. To that excellent base, he added a Belltech lowering kit that brought the rear down 5 1/2″ and the front 3″. That setup, along with a air bags, reportedly make this F-150 handle like a sports car.

With a custom tune, the pickup also has a little more pep in its step. Adding up to a responsive, sporty driving experience that’s also quite livable to tool around town in. This F-150 is optioned to the tilt with the FX2 Sport package, navigation, 12-way power front heated and cooled leather seats, and power adjustable pedals.

The seller didn’t stop there, however. He’s since added a tonneau cover, StopTech brake rotors with Hawk pads, and a few other aftermarket goodies. It all adds up to a very comfy daily driver that also packs the goods needed to have a little fun on some back roads. And truthfully, who wouldn’t enjoy driving something like that?
