Forget the New Raptor: Buy This 2014 Roush Edition

When Ford announced that the forthcoming Raptor would have a V6 instead of a V8, they dropped a bombshell so big that people are still freaking out about it. While that outrage is sure to pass eventually (maybe?), there is always an option for those who can’t bear to drive a six cylinder—the used truck market.

There are a ton of older Raptors out there, many of which are in fantastic condition with low miles on the odometer. If you really want to spice things up, you can buy a modified Raptor that is capable of dusting the new V6 version as well.

In fact, buying used means that you can purchase a Raptor that has received a ton of upgrades, like this 2014 Roush Limited Edition, for around the price of a new one. Plus, this Roush Raptor has something that the new one can’t provide – a 625 horsepower V8. It’s barely broken in with only 17,000 miles on the clock.

The seller claims to have around $90,000 invested in this beast, which makes the $67k asking price fairly attractive. Plus, it’s gonna go (and look) like no other Raptor on the road. So make the right choice and leave that little six cylinder for something a little more traditional and a lot more powerful.
