Ford Releases New Trim of Raptor for 2013

If you were hoping for a hopped up SVT model, you might be a little disappointed to know that the special edition is an appearance package. Essentially, you get all the bells and whistles of the luxury package with some special touches. The seats now have red bolsters and black inserts, the center stack and door panels get new accents, and there are two new choices for paint: Ruby Red Metallic and Tuxedo Black Metallic.

Honestly, the Raptor’s mechanicals are pretty much adequate for most situations out of the box. It’ll handle most anything you throw at short of trophy truck-esque jumps. We all know what happens when you hit a jump too fast. The truck goes on sale next fall.
