Devolro Applying Its Off-Road Expertise to the Ford F-150

The Shelby Ford F-150 is already an amazing truck. But this Florida-based tuner aims to make it even better!

Fans of the Ford F-150 have seemingly endless choices when it comes to tuned versions of America’s favorite pickup these days. Whether you want extreme off-road performance or tire-shredding straight line capability, your choices are vast. So when yet another company decides to jump into the fray with a custom Ford F-150 offering, we tend to yawn. But when that company is Devolro, we take notice.

Fans of Toyota trucks are undoubtedly familiar with the Miami, Florida-based tuner. Over the last several years, they’ve gained quite the reputation for building Toyota trucks equipped to handle extreme off-roading and racing conditions. The company offers over 120 various products to accomplish that mission, as well as a variety of model packages. And now, they’re extending their expertise to the world of Ford trucks.

Interestingly, however, Devolro isn’t starting with a base Ford F-150 or even a Raptor. Instead, they’ve chosen the already capable Shelby F-150 as a basis for their new tuning package. Which isn’t a bad idea, considering the fact that it already packs 750 hp under the hood. To that solid base, Devolro is adding Line-X coating over the entire body, custom bumpers, and a water package with snorkel, for starters.

Ground clearance is increased with a custom 7-inch lift kit, with additional skid plates for underbody protection. Larger Devolro wheels and tires, a custom heavy-duty bed topper, and LED light bar round out the package. While this sounds like a pretty typical tuner build, it’s the details that set it apart from the rest. For example, Devolro factors the extra weight added by these components into the suspension design, a unique but important detail.

If all of that sounds like your idea of the ultimate truck, Devolro’s custom tuning package for the Ford F-150 hits the market in April.
