Protecting my rims from dirt and rust?

What should I use to keep my chrome rims from rusting and losing their shine. I guess im looking for something to put on them like you would put wax on a car. Any kind of cleaner or protectant reccomendations?

I wax my wheels too....

....with a synthetic compound like Finish 2001 or Liquid Glass. Keeps'em shiny and makes then an absolute breeze to clean off the next time, too! Just a soft rag with mild (car wash) soap and the brakes nasty is all gone, as long as there is some slick synthetic stuff underneath it. My wheels are six years old and have seen *lots* of stop-and-go driving, and folks tell me they look new.

I use the Klasse Twins. AIO & SG.
Search the board and try www.autopia-carport.com's forums.
