Making Tires Shine.
There was a debate awhile back about cleaning tires and white letters.

This is what I get from cleaning the rubber with "Simple Green" followed by "Meguiar's Gold Class Endurance High Gloss Long Lasting Gel" It doesn't turn the tires brown, like every other tire dressing I've used. I also use the tire dressing on the wheel well skirts. http://www.partsamerica.com/product_.../MGR/G7516.jpg
To clean the white letters after everything was dry, I used a rag with "Mineral Spirits" and simply rubbed it back and forth across the raised white letters. There's no need to outline the letters. Just run the rag across them, and wipe them with a dry cloth. It only takes about 2 minutes to clean the letters on all 4 tires.
