Question Rims & Tires for 99 F150Screw

I have been shopping for rims and tires for my 99 F150. I am sold on Dunlop Radial Rover Rv tires. I have been told to go with 285 75R16. I am looking to get 16x8 but considering 16x10 rims. My concern is rubbing. Without a lift will there be rubbing. If not can I go larger with the tire size. If anyone has the answers to my questions please respond. Thanks, Christian

They never made a 99 Screw.

If you have a 4x4 you can run 285's without a problem .
I would go to a 16x8 rim ,but alot of people use 16x10.

If you look down a couple threads about bridgestone dueller a/t's, I think he put the same size on the same truck with no problems. seems like it fits but I'd still go with a 275/75 as the largest, were it me, those 285 are going to take up the whole wheel well as you look at it from the side, looks kinda funny to me..

I would avoid those dunlops like the plague. We had Grandtreks on my wife's Pathfinder and they were terrible--I highly recommend Michelin or Bridgestone. Much higher quality tires.

4X4 -
285/75/16 will fit fine. you could actually go a little wider and keep the same heighth. i personally would only go with a 16X10 if you plan on lifting the truck later and want very large tires on it, otherwise it is just more expensive right now.

4X2-
don't have a clue.
