16x8 or 16x10??

I was wondering if some of you could post some pics of 16x8 and 16x10 rims on your trucks. I am looking at getting some new tires and wheels and don't know which size I should get. I want them to stick out a little past the fender well but not so much where I have to worry more about my tires rubbing. I have a 01 SCrew and was thinking about putting 295 on either an AE589 or AE1189 16x8. Would this work or should I just go with 16x10 and go to 305's? Let me know and post some pics if you have them please. Thanks

If you want a wider stance and want the wheels to stick out past the wheel wells you are kind of out of luck. Unlike most 15 inch rims, the vast majority of aftermarket 16 inch rims have the same backspacing as the factory rims(approximately 4.5 inches). Even 16x10's are not going to "stick out" like a 15x10 rim. My Eagle 16x10's are even with the edge of the fender wells when veiwing the truck from the front or rear. In fact, the 15x8 inch Pacer's on my Grand Cherokee "stick out" a lot farther than the 16x10's on my Screw. If you are looking for a wider stance, you deffinetly want the 10's. The only manufacturer I know of that makes a different offset wheel for our trucks is Weld. They make a couple of 16x10's with less backspacing, something like 3.5 inches. You may want to check them out. The only problem is they are very expensive. They are supposed to be one of the highest quality wheels on the market, but you pay for quality.
