How to calculate how far my wheels will stick out.

I ordered new rims and tires for my truck and wanted to have a more aggressive look to complement my level kit. I have stock 17x7.5 rims with 235/70r17 tires and am putting on 17x8 inch rims with 0mm offset and 4.5 inch backspace. The tires im mounting are 285/70r17s. Will these stick out much? I know I can always get spacers to get the wheels where I want them but Ive never liked the idea of using them. Can anyone give me a formula to calculate where my new wheels will be at so I can take a straight edge and and see where they end up. Or does anyone have pics of 8" wide rims with 0mm offset and 4.5 inch backspace.

Add the width of the new wheel to the difference in backspacing. If you have a 97-03 that has OEM wheels with 4.5 inches of BS the calculation would look like this- 0.5+0=0.5 inches. If you have a 04-10 which has an OEM wheel with 5.5 inches of BS it would look like this- 0.5+1=1.5 inches
