40" Ground Hawgs on an 03?

Found a steal on a set of Ground Hawgs, how long before I have to start replacing cc axles? Lol, I know not long probably, because I bog the truck in the weekend's. I have a Dana44, but haven't out it on yet.

Really depends on the weight and the size, a lot of the older ground hawgs ran pretty small from what they were rated at. Like a 37-38 or so would be a 40.

But depending on how hard you hit that mud, you could break one next weekend haha.

When the tires are popping half shafts left and right, are they still a steal?

I have a set 33" TSLs for it, but no rims. My daughter taco'd one of my Centerline rims, and they make them anymore those are 16.5's. I want something taller, tired of getting stuck LOL

16.5's are gonna be hard to find in the 5x135 bolt pattern. Every now and then you'll see them pop up on craigslist or eBay but they'll go fast. Not really the best wheel size if you ever need to air down though.

And as for getting stuck, tire height is only a small part of it haha.
