Does anybody know if 265/70's will fit on a 17x9 rim? Everywhere I've looked says that the rim size for the 265"s is 7.0 - 8.5. Thanks

 

While not perfect, they will fit. I ran 285's on 10 inch wide wheels for 56,000 miles with no problems and they were an inch wider than recommended.

 

The wheel is a touch wide as 8" is ideal but it will work. There are tons of mustangs running around with tired *** cobra r's 17x9 with either oem 245/45-17 or 275/40-17's on them. Different aspect ratios but you get the drift.
