guys with wide tires

Do y'all have any problems with your tires slinging rocks or other debri, onto the side of your truck and tear-up your paint? I have the dark blue metalic paint and very preticular about scatches. I thought about getting the Bushwacker pocket-style cut outs, color colored of course, but I love the fx4 trim. So I am trying to decide if I need the extra lenghth in the fender flares or not.

i have wide tires and the only problem i have with them is it gets covered in mud any time i take off the road but i have never noticed it throwing any rocks my paint still looks good and I have 25k on it. I personally dont like those big fender flares but there are others that do so I guess its really what you like.

I just get mud sling also and my truck is black. If you take a look in my gallary you will see the wheels stick out 2''. I may get the Bush wacker flares down the line.

Depends what's in your terrain and mud, lots of gravel and sand is likely to scratch eventually. I run Bushwackers to protect mine - I love the look and really like not covering the whole truck with debris.

Bushmaster pocket flares

I read about guys installing the Bushwacker pocket fender flares, but, where do you find them?

And you probably don't want the 'cut out' version. See your other thread for locations.
