Yay! Changed my brakes today

I changed my rear brakes today all by myself, using a how-to guidebook from Chiltons. 70 dollars for the pads... and half an hour.. instead of 250 dollars from the dealer..

Discs I'm guessing? Congrats. I did my front two with new pads, new wheel bearings (inner and outter), and resurfaced rotors for $90.

Way to be fordgirl, not too bad huh? A little tip, in case you haven't already, make sure the places where the caliper touch the back of the pad has anti sieze on it, and only those spots, plus the sliders the pads slide on. I just say if you haven't already because they make noises later on down the road, otherwise good job DIY'R

We'll call it a 5 finger discount, and then call it a day! Faboo!, now I gotta do a tie rod change, both on passenger side because they're finally showing breakdown. A chick changing her own brakes- that's hot! Most guys don't even do this- way to go, fun huh?

That's great! What kind of pads? $70 is a lot, so must be ceramic?
