Is 35mm offset good for 20x8.5?

The title ask's the question, I am looking at some 20x8.5 Granite Alloy wheels and tire rack says there 35mm offset compared to the 44mm factory 20s. How much differance is that? Im "considering" some Nitto Terra Grapplers and wonder if 305x55 (33x12.5) or 325x60 (35x13) will work with a 2" level with no or minimal rubbing. Thanks.

My Roush Wheels are 20x8.5 with a 38mm offset and are nearly flush with the fenders. So I think a 35mm offset will stick out 3mm (1/8") more.

Sorry but I can't answer the second part of your question.

The 305/55's should fit, but you may rub with the 35's.
