1999 f150 Supercab 4x4

Please let me know if I can put bigger tires 285/70/17's on my stock rims which currently have 265/70/17's. I believe my factory rim width is 7 inches but it may be 7.5 inches. Please clarify this for me...Thanks for all the help and responses!

Your OEM wheels are 17x7.5 inches wide. Yes, you can easily fit a 285/70-17 on that wheel.
