Base Payload Package??

What is this, and does my 2005 SCREW XLT 4.6L have it???

I am trying to buy front rotors from Autozone...and it says to choose either:

with Base Payload
without Base Payload

Well, I myself would go with the more expensive rotor, guaranteed it's thicker and better, but I'm guessing the w/o base payload means an better than standard capacity in hauling and/or towing. For example, a 4.2l v-6 5 speed reg cab shortbox vs a 5.4l screw with towing package. I myself, like I said would lean towards the better or more expensive rotor. Find out for sure, because one may be for 5 lug and one 6, I dunno.

funny thing...i called 3 dealerships and they could not tell me for sure. We kind of all agreed that the tow package equiped vehicles would have a base payload package....thus requiring stronger rotors. Mine doesnt come with a tow package so i bought the cheaper ones. I was thinking the same line as you...but the rotors from autozone have a 2 year warranty against warping, even after machining...so i was for sure going with the 59.99 instead of the 79.99.
