Baja Claws Or Nitto Mud Grapplers?

Cant decide. Like them both. Im going more towards the Nittos right now because they're non directional. Let me hear your opinons, maybe you can sell me on the bajas How is tread wear on both? Perfromance on and off road? I play in the mud every now and then. Any help would be great...

My brother has the nittos on his toyota and he loves them, however, that is a much lighter truck. I had the claws on my truck and they were great in the mud - i hardly ever used the 4wd. they are a little soft, though, but the tread wear is no worse than any other m/t.

i can go on and on about the baya claws, i have tried alot of the popular MT tires out there on many diffrent offroad rigs and the baya claws have been the best all around tire i have ever owned, they do great in mud great in sand dirt everything they are quiet for a MT getting great wear pattern(and that is hard with 38"-15.5 on 11" of lift) and so far i have barely dented the tread and i have 20,000 miles on them i expect them to last 40,000 before i replace them but the would be useable to 50,000, i will put it this way these are the last type of tire i will ver buy, hope i helped and good luck

As far as quality, I can't help ya there. But if you're buying for looks, go with the Mud Grapplers...those things look like dinosaurs.

I would say the BAJA are a better tire, better quality/build. The nittos look great though and may be cheaper. I think it depends on what's your price. Plus I think the BAJA have proven themselves many times where as the NITTO have not been out for long. Also the 35" nitto's are over 80 pounds each if that means anything for power-loss.Good luck.
