Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2?

I have the same question as oifvet. I have an 05 STX Ext Cab 4x4. It has General 255/70/17 's on it right now. Those have to be the worst tires ever. I have been comparison shopping tires for about a month now trying to decide what to get. And wouldn't you know it, today on my way home I ran over a screw, couldn't have been more than an inch long. Let's just say the General is going flat as we speak. Any suggestions?

Without a lift, I'd suggest a 285/70-17 or 285/65-18 for a 4x4.
