how loud are Toyo Open Country M/T's...

anyone have them? I don't mind a little noise but how do they compare to a terra grappler A/T. I know that they are two different class of tires but I cant get the grappler at's and they are having problems mounting my mT ATZ's so this is the next tire on the list if it's not too loud.

They are supposed to be the quietest mud terrian tire available. But honestly, if the shop can't handle mounting your other tires, I doubt they can mount the Toyos.

THE TOYO is a very nice tire. They do humm a bit. The NITTO's are more of a street type tire. Not alot of gaps between tread like the TOYO. I have read that the Hunter 9700 is the best tire balancing machine. Try to find a shop with one. Discount tire doesn't seem to know what they are doing or does not have the right equipment when it comes to truck tires. They never seem to do a good job. Good luck.

What kind of price are you getting the Toyo's M/T's for. I looked into a set of 33*12.5*20 at a local 4*4 shop, they wanted...get this... $700ish per tire. I laughed all the way out the door. I wasn't expecting a deal from a 4*4 performance shop but haven't had a chance to check out other shops.

i got my mt's for $250/tire balanced & mounted... from american car care center
specifically lisac's tire in Butte, Montana- either way, my invoices are from ACCC directly, so i figure you can get them too.
