Exclamation puzzled:need some suggestions, from everyone!!

anyone can answer, im just looking for suggestions:

im definetly going with 16x10 inch rims on my stock height 2003 f-150 supercrew 4x4, but the question is, should i go for 285/75/16 or 305/70/16:

i drive the truck a lot being its my only mode of transportation, mostly highway, and idk if i should go for the 285's or the wider 305's i mean is it that much different and will my truck not be able to corner as well...whats the situation on these two different sets of tires?

so im just looking for some ideas on whats better: to help you out

im going for a somewhat offroad look but not raising it, yet,(no money) but i dont know if the 305's are too wide and the truck wont turn as tight, Wandell has shown me pictures of his truck with 285's on the 16x10 at stock height, and that looks awesome, but will 305's look sicker?

thanks to everyone that responds

The 305's are about an inch wider than the 285's. That is the only difference. Either one will work fine. The only reason I didn't go with 305's is because I wanted BFG AT KO's and they didn't come in that size in 2001.

The BFG is a much better tire in my opinion. The guy you talked to probably has a higher profit margin on the Pro Comps. I currently have over 40,000 miles on my AT KO's and they should get at least another 20,000 before they get down to the wear indicator bars. I'm not saying the Pro Comps are a bad tire, I just don't think they are as good as the BFG AT KO's (and MT KMs), Toyo Open Country AT (and MT) or the Nitto Terra Grapplers (and Mud Grapplers).

I have 33x12.5x17 Pro Comp All Terrains and I really like them. Good off road traction and quiet on the highway. However, I am having a hard time getting them to stay balanced. Your tire guy may be pushing the Pro Comps because he can't get the Toyo's or Nitto's. I got the same story from my tire guy too.
