is there one place out there that might always have the better price on tires? also does anyone have a rough idea of what it would cost to have some wheels powder coated?

 

Try Discount Tires. They usually have good prices.

 

Just a guess on the powdercoating $50-75 each.

 

Another thumbs up for Discount Tire, I've never have had a problem with them and they always do free rotations, and patch/replace worn tires under warranty. Once with my 93 Isuzu RS I had one tire get a sidewall puncture(offroading), and they went ahead and replaced all four tires due to the flat tire was discontinued and(for safety issues) the dont pair up non-matching treads. So I got sfour new tires with a new warranty.
