i recently bought a 2004 f150 fx4. i have not done anything yet except glasspack exauhst and window tint. i have been looking into lifts. i dont want something too big so i cant get my dirtbikes in there easily but i dont like the stock height. therefore. im thinking about getting a 3" skyjacker lift or a 4.5 " superlift . problem is. they tell me i can only fit 285 on the 3" skyjacker. but a buddy of mine fit 33s on his 2.5" lift. can anyone tell me who has had experience or knows someone. i would really like to know what size tires i could fit in. thanks in advance guys

A ton of people have fit 35x12.50 on 4x4 by using a 2.5 inch leveling kit and the stock 17x7.5 and 18x7.5 inch wheels. Lift manufacturers always go conservative on tire size.
