i'm thinking of buying some used FX4 rims i found for a good price. they are the 17x7.5. I was going to put 285/70/17 tires on (probably BFG AT KO's unless i find something nice and cheaper)

the question is, and i'm just double checking because i know its definitely been discussed hundreds of times....

with my 2x4 raised 3 inches with a suspension lift, can i put that tire/wheel combo onto my truck without any catastrophic problems. i know i'll have to trim the valence, but other than that all will fit and look awsome, right!!??

Yes, they will fit with a 3 inch lift. I don't think you will even have to trim the valance with that combo.
