Aftermarket wheel setups, no lift, no drop

Hey,

Just wondering who's running some aftermarket rims/tires but hasn't lifted or dropped your truck. Throw a picture up if you got one. Let us know the details too...

Those stock rims that come on an XL are just too F-Ugly.

Thanks in Advance.

Little help here, what year, 2wd, 4wd? These all play a big part in what you can fit, and how.

03 FX4, 285/75/16 on 16x8

Look in my gallery.

What direction do you want to go? 16's or 17's with an off road tire? Or maybe 20's or 22's with a street tire?

The rims I'm looking at are 17x8. They also have a 5" offset. Do you think these would work without rubbing. I'd probably want to keep my overall wheel diameter the same as stock.

Also, how much does 5" of backspacing stick out? Thanks again.

I don't know for sure, but I've been told the OEM 04-05 F-150 wheels have 5 1/2 inches of backspacing. So if you go from a stock 17x7.5 to those, they should stick out 1 inch farther than your OEM wheels because they are 1/2 inch wider and have 1/2 inch less backspacing.
