Largest Factory Tire Package Offered for 98 F150?

Anyone know what the largest factory tire was for a 98 F150 4x4 was?

265/70R17's that were sold with the "off road package" on 17x7.5" wheels.

You can get almost the exact same tire diameter with 265/75R16's on the stock 16x7" wheels.

Right, 265/70-17 (32x10.50) was the largest tire the factory installed on 97-03 F-150 4x4's.

I wanted to go taller but that's what I'm running right now. From what I've been told Maine won't allow anything but a factory tire size.
One of the guys at work went from 225/70R16 to 265/70R16's on his GM and had to reprogram for his anti-lock brakes to be legal and that’s as tall as he could go and still get a sticker.

Anyone know if you can go taller then a factory offered package in Maine? It seems the states being ran buy the insurance companies.

don't know about the laws in maine but i just upgraded to 265/75/16 Revos on my '98.

They changed the look of the whole truck... just do it !
