Tire question again....

Just wanting to know again that a 33/12.50R17 (305/70R17) tire will fit on my stock rims that are on a 04 supercrew that has a leveling kit on it. Aslo these are Pro Comp tires are they any good and what does:
Ply rating=8
tread width=10.1
O.D.=32.9
What does that mean? Thanks for the responses in advance!

If your truck is a 4x4, they will fit easily. The Pro Comp AT's are a fair tire. I say this from reading post from owners. Some love them, some say they are ok. They are a lot better than your OEM tires for sure.
THe 8 ply rating means the tire is constructed of 8 plys.
The 10.1 tread width means the tread is 10.1 inches wide.
OD=32.9 means the tire is 33.9 inches tall. (unmounted)

It'll be tight on a 4x2, but I would think you could fit them if you use the stock wheels. You may want to test fit one first. I think there is a member here running 285/70-17's on a 4x2 with a leveling kit. The 285/70-17's work out to be a 33x11.50. Same height as yours but an inch narrower.

What to do?

I guess I am to a point that I don't know what size tire to put on this truck. I want it to look like a 4x4 even though it is not...any suggestions?

I'd test fit a 33x12.50. If it doesn't fit, you should be able to judge whether you need to step down to a 285/70-17 (33x11.50) or a 265/70-17 (32x10.50).

Thanks!

Thanks for all the input....I think that I will just go with the 285 b/c nobody in this area seems to have the other size.
