i live in the northeast and we've had a nice ol' winter, first winter for my 97 f150. It only has rear wheel abs and i was wondering if anyone knew of any kits to upgrade to a full 4 wheel abs system and any tips form anyone who has?

 

You probably need to break out your check book, credit cards, cash, and whatever savings you have.

 

it would break the bank, i think if you wanted that i would sell and trade up. the cheapest way i can think of its find a wrecked or salvage place and get the equiptmen off a f-1 that already had it... you would need all the electronics and the front sensors and prob new calipers. in the long run it would end up with labor and everything cost more then the truck might be worth if its pre 98

 

i appreciate the info, i just thought there might be a kit for it, thought it might just be a new harness and master/abs cylinder....but oh well....thanks anyway
