Can I swap in a 4.6L from a Grand Marquis 1996 (engine and trans) into a F150 2006 to 2008 if I use the intake/outake of the F150?

 

it will physically fit I'm sure, what's required to make it operate I, personally, could only guess. Probably the entire wire harness and computer from the car? Someone else might have a better idea of the details involved.

 

The transmission may not fit due to tailshaft differences, and the intake and exhaust manifolds are not interchangeable. The 1996 engine is non-PI, the 2006-2008 4.6 was PI. There will also be a lot of electronic issues.
