p0174 code bank 2 lean 2005 f150 with 4.6

Hi im new to the forum and in need of some help. Im sorry if this not the correct area to post. II have a 2005 f150 with 4.6. Last week my truck misfired #5 and bank 2 lean i change the plugs the misfire is gone but bank 2 lean is still there. Has a rough idle low rpm's about 550 and power loss below if i stay at a constant speed. Things that i have done so far
changed plugs, fuelectricity filter, checked all vacuum lines and PCV, i ran fuel injector cleaner used carb cleaner around intake manifold and now i am stuck. all of the post regarding a lean code is bank 1 &2 mine is bank 2 only

Hi, JFF.... going to move your thread over to engines...

Just a thought on your issue though... Sounds injector-ish to me.

Check cam phasers. Just ran into the issue as well on a Co workers truck. Bank 2 is drivers side. Wouldn't hurt to do a volt pulse test on the cam position sensor.

No phasers on a 05 4.6.

If you have an exhaust leak before the front O2 sensor, that will trip a lean code. I don't know if the 05 is the same as my son in law's 98, but the EGR pipe connects to the driver's side manifold and it tends to rot away and break.

seens my original post. good news

I hunted for a day to find a vacuum leak with no luck. I decided to take the throttle body elbow egr and aic off and clean them up the egr was dirty but not plugged, i tried to use vacuum to accurate the valve and nothing. Using throttle body cleaner i cleaned it up and put it back together. I don't know what the problem was but she's running like a champ. Perfect idle and throttle response. i've been looking at other posts for about a week prior to jumping in to it. Thanks to the forum for great advise.
